Hey guys, thought I would share my story, because I know how difficult it is for us to try new things.
So, about 1 month ago I decided to try CBD oil to combat my health anxiety. First I tried the CBD oil w/o THC for a couple of days. I noticed that it made me restless at night, so I stopped taking it. Then, I progressed to CBD oil w/ THC (20:1). I was so afraid of getting high, even though I'd been told multiple times that the ratio was too low to feel any affects, so I took the risk. After about 1 1/2 weeks of taking 1 dropper per day, I noticed that my daily physical symptoms lessened. They lessened so much that I could function again. I felt a bit more like my old self again. I still get the most anxious when I'm driving, but even those symptoms are tolerable. The weekend before last I went to Palm Springs for a short vacation and was worried that the extreme heat would trigger my anxiety symptoms, but it was quite the opposite. It was the most relaxing vacation that I've had in a long time!
Fast forward to this past weekend when my CBD oil ran out, so I decided to try Charlotte's Web hemp oil because of the great reviews on YouTube. It is very pricey and I was worried that it wouldn't work and that I'd have to buy more CBD oil and wait for it to kick in. But, I'm on day 3 and although I notice that it is working for me, I think that the CBD w/THC works better. I took 1 dropper of the CBD daily, but found myself taking 3 droppers of Charlotte's web (instructions say 1-3) today.
I hope this helps anyone considered trying CBD or hemp oil. I seriously haven't had this kind of calm in my body in so long. I'm optimistic about this new treatment. Everyone is different, so if you're considering it, give it some time to find out what works best for you.
