I’ve had mild chest pain for 2 days but when I woke up this morning it turning into an icy hot burning. Sort of like I put bengay on my chest. Is this normal? I also feel a little short of breath but that might be me being paranoid.

Icy hot burning sensation.
sydneykieng, not being a doctor or knowing your health history, I agree in that you should always check with your doctor with new symptoms. However... I have had the feeling many times of feeling like I had just put BenGay on my chest. It's a cooling burn almost like peppermint. For myself, it's always had to do with chest wall muscle tightness from stress or over exertion of the muscles. They can get so tense, so tight that it sends out a burning sensation which may be coming from the tiny capillaries. It comes and goes
I use relaxation and deep breathing.
If this is something new, please see your doctor. Breathe Sydney...Breathe xx Feel better

Thank you I’m deciding on wether or not to go to the doctor because I had a sonogram done on my heart a couple months ago and they said everything was great. I’ve also experienced this icy hot sensation on my stomach before. I’m usually not this worried about it but my life is pretty stressful atm so I think it’s making everything worse.
Intense stress as well as chronic stress plays hard on the mind and the body causing all kinds of symptoms. Keep us updated at what you decide, maybe just a call to be doctor may reassure you as to what he thinks.
Right now you are in a stuck position with stress that anxiety loves to feed off it. xx
