I have had a warning sign tbat my depression is making a come back. Currently take 50mg low dose but have had a set back last few days. Increasing to 100mg Sertraline to avoid worse symptoms or downward spiral in the next couple of months or so. Anyone else get these set backs every 7-8 months?

What's it like on 100mg Sertraline?
Hiya , I also suffered a set back a few months ago , mainly due to family illnesses , like you was on 50 sertraline and went up to 100mg on my doctor's advice . In my case after around 5 weeks , my situation improved quite noticeably . I was able to return to work after having 3 weeks off , get out and about again without suffering panic attacks . Hope this helps , try to give the meds chance to work . For me 50 mg didn't seem quite enough , felt like I was all ways on the verge of panic attacks , 100 mgs , I felt a calm I had not felt in quite a while. Hope all works out for you . Best wishes.
Hi lisiem,
Thanks for your quick reply. I took my first 100mg last night. My eyes are puffy and I'm run down, tired and been over doing things because I have felt so good. But it's all caught up with me out of the blue. Like it does! I have chronic shoulder pain too which goes with my depressive symptoms. I'm off work too as my brains a bit too foggy also. Hate panic attacks. I suffer with them too. Not had one for nearly a year now (touch wood). Hope to feel good again soon. Thanks
