Neck palpitations

I can feel my heartbeat and palpitations in my neck and throat lately.

I was just diagnosed with Laryngopharyngeal reflux and GERD so i dont know if the palpitations are related to those.

When i burp it feels like it makes the palpitations stop.

Anyone experience any of these things? Is the awareness of the heart beat in my neck just anxiety? Ive always had anxiety and started having panic attacks a few weeks ago.

I’ve often wondered if palpitations can be connected to reflux. I have a hernia and often when the wind comes up the palps stop!

From what ive searched there seems to be a connection. Something about the reflux irritating the vagus nerve. I have silent reflux so i cant even tell if the butping is anxiety or reflux at times.
