Dear Ilma. It’s muscle tension, it’s called TMD or TMJ and it’s a really common cause of anxiety, totally harmless but uncomfortable to say the least. Maybe try ibufren gel on the pressure points, hit or cold packs and relax facial muscles when you feel tense. It can be caused by clenching teeth when stressed.

Hi Ilma, I agree with Lisajaynedavies in that it is muscle tension causing facial muscular pain. For me hot packs worked to relax the muscles as well as bring the circulation to the surface. Either one is okay to use, whatever works for you. Once again I recommend YouTube to be guided through muscle relaxation. There are now 1 or 2 minute videos that can be used while using your cold/hot packs. Breathe away the tension as you blow out each breath. x
