5am and up with Anxiety

I kinda had a weird night sleep. Third night I've taken my escitalopram and had a weird night sleep, was kinda dizzy in my sleep all night. Then woke up and had the urge to go to the bathroom (diarrhea tmi I know). But then I remember reading diarrhea was a symptom of serotin syndrome and now I got myself more worked up. Ugh can anyone help? Is this just my GAD?

Lots of those meds have side affects like that. Read up on it and ask your doc. Should be an easy fix. Problems sleeping can be a little harder. I almost always get anxiety/restless leg at night. Not fun at all. God bless and good luck.

David.

Thank you. I've been pretty okay today did take a nap though. I read something like if you get serotin syndrome it happens within 24 hrs of taking the drug and this will be my 4th day. Hoping the symptoms let up soon though.

That can happen while your body adjust to the meds.

It sucks. I wish it would just adjust already 😄
