Its 3:05am and im up feeling helpless on trying my best to just accept this and the symptoms but they are just horrible the cycle keeps coming back. I awoke after 12 with the worst panic attack felt like i couldnt breath i was totally out of it i pitched up out of my sleep in a horror pacing around the house i thought i was dying does anyone knows what causes u to wake out of your sleep in a panic like that.
After the episode i managed to calm down and listened to some apps for anxiety and fell asleep woke up again now after 3 with a racing heartbeat and tension like no other the worrying is starting to kick in its so easy to say accept that its jus anxiety when the symptoms are the worse i just want to sleep so bad but skeptical of going back to bed amd everytime i drift off in sleep im awaken by funny feelings.

It’s all just anxiety. It happens to me as well. Some of my worst panic attacks have happened from waking up from sleep. My doctor told me that since I have such bad anxiety and my mind is on high alert at all times, that when I’m asleep, or trying to sleep, my mind doesn’t know it can shut off and is still on high alert. It could be anything from a creak in the floor or someone coughing that can wake you up from your sleep into a panic. Also, sometimes if you have bad dreams in your sleep. You don’t nexessarily remember them, but they could for sure be happening too.
