We all have dark days but you have to try and stay strong and seek help from docs/medical professionals if you feel this way! I hope you are ok and coming on here to talk is always a good idea ... anxiety is such a lonely place but there is light at the end of the tunnel (I know easy to say right) but there’s so many people who care that you don’t need to feel you are alone. I really really hope you get the hope and help that you need ❤️❤️❤️ Xx

We are all going to die anyways. I’ve been stuck in my house for 8 years. I have no life.

It’s only logical choice.

I know it feels like a very lonely place but we are all here for you. Stay strong we can beat this together, I have had a day like you today and felt just like you explained your feelings but lots of people in this world love us, you are precious so let us show our appreciation of their love and support by being strong and not letting anxiety come between us and hurt those we love. A big hug. xx 💕

Hey there,

Make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and spend some time reading and learning about what you’re currently experiencing using this link

nothingworks.weebly.com

It’s a long read but very much encouraged. Don’t despair, take courage and stay strong, good days will come and you just have to push through the bad. Never give up and remember, YOU are more than just Anxiety and Depression. When your Anxiety starts improving, the Depression will lift and you will no longer have suicidal thoughts. I’ve been in dark places , but I came through it.

You are worth more than you know! Suicide is never the answer. You can beat this! I've come through a nervous breakdown and major depression mostly because of my faith and some things I had to change in my life like my thoughts and taking better care of myself. I had to do it while raising two small kids. It can be done!! Anxiety and depression are mostly lies. We can defeat them with Gods word. You are created by the creator himself and taking your life is not going to make things better. Please message me if you have any questions or comments! Blessings to you!

No I have not. Suicide is not the answer. Keep fighting and try to not focus on it. Just keep hoping and keep living. Life can be hard but all you can do is try to stay strong. Jesus loves you !! Stay strong!

Jennylove, if you ever feel like you're going to take your life you must ring for an ambulance and explain how you feel to them.

These things I know: You can recover from anxiety. You can recover from depression. You can recover from agoraphobia. Many thousands of other people have and so can you.

From what you write in your post you are finding things overwhelming so I suggest your first recourse is to ask your doctor to go on to an anti-anxiety anti-depressant medication that will bring you quick relief and respite. If you've already tried meds and they haven't helped then you should try a different one that will work. There WILL be one that works well for you, I assure you, just don't give up.

No doubt your inability to leave your home for 8 years adds to your depression, I presume this is due to agoraphobia, if so it can be overcome.

Anxiety, depression and agoraphobia can all be resolved regardless of how long or how deeply you have suffered.

I am going to recommend that you should read two short books that untold thousands of people have found life changing. One deals with anxiety and depression and the other with agoraphobia. Both available from Amazon new or used.

Both were written by Claire Weekes, an Australian doctor who suffered from anxiety and agoraphobia and developed a method of recovery by which she cured herself. She then shared the method with others by writing these two books.

The first is 'Self help with your nerves' and the second is 'Peace from nervous suffering'.

If you should decide to read them I believe you will feel your life begin.

"Everything will be alright in the end and if it isn't it isn't the end."

Hi Jeff. I have read Claire weekes books.

I tried to implement her views into practice,it didn’t work for me. I have tried all western medicine known to man and I’ve even tried herbal medicines nothing has helped. Tried hypnotherapy and psychologist and seen 15 different doctors and no one has been able to rid me of my extreme anxiety the minute i get near my front door my whole body starts to convulse.

I’m so tired of it. 😢😭

Please don't give up! As long as you have life, there is hope. I have been suffering for a long time also and there is a part of me that feels I will never get better, but just the chance , even maybe small, that I will get better I keep on going. I have personally seen people so bad after losing a spouse, I have thought that it is over for them also, but with the right medication and counseling they went on to have a remarkable full life that I would have thought would be impossible. So keep on trying, You can do it, I can do it!

jennylove - seems to me that it is actually quite a common feature of anxiety and depression - and have even met someone in the past who really doesn't have mental health issues but described an occasion when he found himself contemplating suicide as a result of a stressful situation ...

you may find this post helps a bit
