Spitting blood

So I woke up this morning spitting blood I could taste it, so scared had a bad chest for months I'm in the emergency room to get to the bottom off it, so scared could it be my gums? Throat or lungs freaking out theirs a long wait

Hi relax it could just be something simple.if you have been coughing for weeks you may have broken some little blood vessels .don't forget your in the right place and they will sort you out.so just put your confidence in the hospital staff they will sort you out.

I haven't been coughing much really just wen I bring the crap up off my chest! I wasn't coughing this morning could just taste blood

If you have chest infection that will cause inflammation in the chest.was it brown ( old blood) or bright red ?

It's was red blood my bright tho just normal and watery

My brother was bringing up red blood once and his was because of a really bad chest infection they gave him antibiotics and he was fine.try not to worry you will find out soon.if it had been anything serious you would of been seen straight away.let me now how you get on.

Hi just got home, bloods came back normal and chest X-ray too, I've got tonsillitisso the blood must off been my tooth that's all I can think cause it's not my lungs
