Weird feeling help!!

I just walked down to the shop and had a really strange feeling come over me despite it been freezing out I got a hot flush all over my body . I was litterly burning up!! I picked up what I needed fast and rush home. I stripped off my hat/scarf , zipped down my coat and my huddy. I was sweating. I m shaking now too. If felt about surreal. It has really freaked me out. Home now sitting in a t-shirt and I'm shaking typing this. My upper body has stiffened up.

My daughter was with me couldn't understand what was wrong with me as it's bitter cold out and only few min B4 I was complaining bout the cold!!

I have had this happen many times and always put it down to a few things

Sometimes I have had a low sugar level drop

Or it can be an anxiety attack as they can also make this happen

And if you are female then hormones can make you go from all of a sudden burning up to feeling freezing cold

Thank yes I'm female.

I don't think it was my blood sugar as I had only eaten dinner and I've had this happen a few times usually when I've forgotten to eat. Im thinking it was an anxiety attack. Really horrible experience 😓

Sometimes I have just eaten yet still had a blood sugar drop but also as I said I have had anxiety attacks that make you feel that way to and yes it is a horrible experience especially when you have not had them before because it comes as quite a shock

Try and cast it to one side and not fear what happened , even though it was very unpleasant tell yourself you coped and worked through it and I hope you are feeling a lot better now x

The same thing has been happening to me a lot lately. I asked my psychiatrist whether or not it was my medication, but she informed me that my anxiety was really high and it was causing me to get hot. I would literally have to take off some layers of clothes in my classroom and drink cold water from my fridge in order to bring it down . it's an ongoing thing for me now, and rather annoying. But I pray things get better for you!

Thank you everyone for your replys, I had a few good days since but today I'm not great. Pressure on my head and my neck is very tense. I'm not sleeping very well either.

My best friend was diagnosed with cancer 10 days ago , I'm utterly heartbroken. I've so much anxiety over what lays ahead. I really need to work on myself and trying to stay calm.

I’ve had this happen to me many times. Before it would turn into a full blown panic attack but now as soon as I️ get that hot body feeling I️ switch my mind and occupy myself with something else calming and it will go away. It is very scary when it first happens but I️ know mine was due to high anxiety.

Thank you, I've had the heat flush before but it's usually when im in bed. This was the first really bad one I got during the day . I try not to get worked up but it's hard.
