Hives with Citalopram

I have been on it for 2 weeks and just started itching on my stomach it’s come up in hives like nettle rash I’m now panicking incase I have serotonin syndrome if that’s spelt right! Also changed my bubble bath maybe I’m just worrying over nothing!

I have been on citalopram for 6 weeks and I haven't had any rash or hives, I would assume it's from your new bubble bath though

Hate for you to give up your bubble bath, but I don't want you to have to take the injections I had to because I was so allergic to EVERYTHING like that wonderful bubble bath. Now take showers. Not the same at all.

Suggest you try Johnson and Johnson's No More Tears Baby Shampoo (original...not the kind where scents were added). Let your rash clear up, then try that shampoo to wash in the shower or tub. Will not even irritate your eyes if you wash your face with it.

If that doesn't cause a rash after a few baths or showers, try it to make your bubbles in your bath.

I won't tell you how I learned about this, cause you would laugh at me.
