I googled all the time, ends up worrying myself that I have heart disease or cancer, blood clots from the results that google gave me and that sends me into worry and a panic attack.

Magnesium Citrate is the best kind because it is most easily absorbed by the body so my wonderful old fashioned pharmacist tells me! πŸ’• Chloe

Look for magnesium citrate it's best absorbed by the body. Supplement of spray is good. Also Epsom salts in the bath are great. It's easy to be deficient in magnesium and thus can cause many health issues x

Magnesium is fantastic to boost so many body functions and along with Vitamin C is really needed by our bodies most people do not get the right level through food. I always take a supplement! Liked your post! It is worth reading up on folks! You will be surprised what you will learn! πŸ’• Chloe

Magnesium malate for a.m. and magnesium gluconate before bed is what I was told. Was taking both but the TIA frightened me from taking any supplements. And I'd been feeling really good before this! I'm scared of making things worse. My neuro consultant told me to to ask a pharmacist about contraindications. My pharmacist looked at me blankly. So .........

My advice is keep taking the Magnesium it cannot hurt you. It is a naturally occurring mineral in our bodies and many of us do not have enough of it. It helps all kinds of conditions. The most easily absorbed Magnesium is Magnesium Citrate. I buy mine from a highly reputable Health Food Store and it is not cheap. However, I notice days when l don’t take it. Try starting at the lowest dose and see how you do. At this particular Health Food Store if l said H & B that might mean something to you without advertising!!! You can book a consultation with an expert in using supplements who really know their stuff! β€œWay to Go” maybe? Good Luck πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Thanks, that's useful, yes I know H&B, my magnesium supplements are made up by a lady from another group, no fillers ! and they helped tremendously, body and mind, along with other supplements and a vit d3 and K2-mk7 regime.

I was really interested to read about the other supplements you are taking too! Yes a consultation with H & B might give you some more info at least. They are free too. I also use a Qualified Herbalist who grows his own herbs organically and has been practicing for well over 40 years now. He cured my mother’s Ulcerative Colitis through diet and herbal supplements. The Consultant was totally amazed when he examined her wanted to know β€œwhere it had gone” same one who was going to do a colostomy! What works for some diesnot work for others l know. But l find every bit of info l collect useful and go away and see if there is a common thread running through it. My Herbalist gives a 2 hour Consultation where he takes a full history and any drugs you are taking. My liver was in a terrible condition due to it trying to process and cleanse my body of Pesticides now it is vastly improved through ultra sound evidence they asked me what l had been doing! Anyway, great post and thanks for your info, πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Tragically only way to delete Google is to wash it with your whites in a hot wash and then probably cry buckets because β€œhey you need that thing”!πŸ’• Chloe

I agree about these negatives of googling but there are positives for me. I know little about strokes, I'm learning every day, I'd prefer to educate myself and have knowledge, albeit worrying, than to stay in Ignorance and imagine all sorts of awful stuff. Knowledge gives me some control over what's happening. And thank Google that I found these groups, there is no-one to share this with and that isolation makes everything 100 times worse.
