I have finally gone to see my doctor in regards to managing my panic disorder and he has referred me to a psychologist and prescribed me aroprax 25mg which is an SSRI but I have never had anything like this and I'm a little sheepish to try it.
Of course it's for my own good but I am still a bit worried about starting it what do you guys think ?

I think it is natural to feel a bit apprehensive about starting a medication, but you should know hah professionals often don't take it lightly deciding to put you on a medication, I personally would give it a go I see it as you have nothing to lose but potentially something to gain
I have to admit I had never heard of Aropax so read up to find it's a marketing name for paroxetine.
Just think about the the drug as medication for your brain. If you had the flu, you would take a cold and flu tablet.
Always read the consumer medicine information leaflet that comes with medication so you know the most important things about the drug. Allow for at least 3-4 weeks before expecting it to work, sometimes even longer.
