I think I have worms... gross I know

Right this is gonna be the most gross and open thing ever so I apologise, but I'm so worried. I have recently discovered ( last night ) I have worms, however I'm way too scared to go to the doctor and even tell my mum. I'm 16 I know I can get the medication myself and stuff but I'm too scared like what if I treat it and it's not worms ( even though I know it is because I've seen them) it's just freaking me out As I had one wriggling about on my hand after scratching, and it's now all I can feel.. help

Stop scratching and keep your hands clean - use your own towel. The overcounter medicine works get treated x
