I can be having a awesome day and anxiety Free and then the second I start to not feel good or something is “off" physically I jump to the worst possible conclusion! So if I have a pain in my chest I automatically think heart attack. If my head starts to hurt now I have a brain tumor or I am having a stroke. My brain doesn't just say you have heartburn or you have a migraine like the docs said. I will dwell and dwell on it and not only my my anxiety symptoms worse but send myself into a full blown panic attack to the point of going to the e.r. anyone else do this. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

We all do!!! That's why we have these wretched anxiety symptoms! You're on the right track if you recognize this. Our main goal, once we accept and deal with our symptoms, should be to change our thinking! If our brains keep going to the worst possible outcome, the adrenaline will keep flowing and the anxiety beast will continue to thrive.
Yeah, i've done that for many years. Have you tried cognitive behavioral therapy? It helps a lot. In therapy you basically try to bring on the symptoms that you always get during anxiety(it can be quite scary i know). The thing is, the more you do that, the less you'll feel afraid and eventually you won't care any longer. You'll also notice that the symptoms won't be showing up much(or in some cases at all) because you are more relaxed and not looking for danger everywhere.
I’m always dealing with a rollercoaster of anxiety symptoms and I always think the worst too.... but it’s our minds playing tricks on us.
