Shelley, try chamomile tea before bed and absolutely no tv or electronic devices at least an hour before you get into bed (unless you're listening to a calming app. or music on your headphones). Try to stick to a regular bedtime and wake-up schedule as much as possible. Make sure your room is comfy and not too hot, and buy a Himalayan Rock Crystal lamp for your night stand. They produce negative ions which are good for anxiety - put it on a couple of hours before bedtime to 'charge' the air. They're pretty cheap to buy!
