Effexor XR Side Effects

Hey guys!

Took my last dose of fluoxetine 20mg yesterday and started Effexor XR at 75mg today. I haven't had any anxiety today which is such a blessing, but I've had such a Brain fog feeling..kind of in a daze and as if I'm in slow motion. Anyone else experienced this with starting Effexor?

yes, side effects with XR effexor/venlafaxine are common and can take 8-12 weeks to begin to work

Have taken many years I was on highest you could get didn't have any side effects until I ran out the drug with draw are bad. I'm trying to get off slowly still have the with draw. Trying to get off. Had it a few hours after missing a dose. But right now on 75 hopeing to get off I have had anxiety problem at times but I controlled it, also had a few manic knew I was in trying to handle it. Hope will go away. I want to get off. The things I read on long term didn't look good. But I was glad to have it when it was needed.

I think it's the combination of the fluoxetine still in my system and the Effexor added it causing drowsiness. But I haven't had any anxiety is 2 days so I'm happy about that. Think my body just has to get adjusted
