I pulled a muscle in my neck

So i was. Turning my neck & I pulled a muscle at the back what do I do ? Is that even possible I can feel it how can I fix it can I fix it?

It hurts when I turn to the left

Ice and heat rotation.... Also self massage it'll hurt and be sore for a few days I done the same thing a few months ago
