Need some opinions...

So, my ex boyfriend and I have been broken up for around 8 years now, although we've tried to get back together a dozen times over those years... We've been completely apart for 8. We have a daughter together, he is good dad, no problem there. My daughter has been living with my mother over he past few years because my depression and anxiety was getting so overwhelming, so I thought it'd best for my child to live with my mom (its not a forever living situation) just until I get myself together fully. I do see my daughter, I'm close with her, I'm not completely out of her life. Anyways, my daughter was at my house the other day, her dad (my ex) came to pick her up, which was not a big deal, but his girlfriend came with him... And it was a tad awkward for me. He's been with his girlfriend for 2 years now, they live together but I've never met her before... when they pulled into the drive way, I was a little nervous to meet her, you know? So, my ex steps out of the car, but his girlfriend was still sitting in the passengers seat, with a smirk on her face and looking down at her phone. I wanted to say hello and introduce myself to her, but she had no intentions of doing that. My whole thing is, why wouldn't she do the appropriate gesture and get out of the car and introduce herself? This woman is around my kid, you would think she'd want to keep things cool with me, but she had a snobby look and she was occupied with her phone. I thought it was a bit rude.

From experience I think you should let him know you want to meet her. Because she is around your daughter. I had my ex set up a dinner and we got to know eachother I have a great relationship with his fiancé I speak to her more than I do to him
