I hate taking mirtazapine it makes me so tired and crap. Doesn't do anything to help my dark thoughts. I'm getting shaky legs and terrible pain in my left breast.
Broke up with boyfriend yesterday, he can handle all my issues. There just doesn't seem much for me to live for anymore. My life is falling apart, anxiety is running rampant and my dearest friend died, I should have died with him.
Oh Dave I miss you.
Sorry about this it's just that I'm struggling so much.
jennifer234, you must give the medication time, you just started on it. Yes it's true that they do make you feel tired. It's too soon to help with your dark thoughts yet. 1-4 weeks with Mirtzazpine before it reaches full efficacy. Give it time, give yourself time. A pill isn't a miracle but a bridge or crutch to help you get through this dark stage of your life. Therapy will also be necessary while on medication in order to give you some direction. Dying is the simple way of getting out of a desperate time. Anything worth while we must work for but the goal is so worth it.
If you had a crystal ball, you would see a happier Jennifer not too much further in the distance. Right now you need time to rediscover who you are, time to heal from the loss of your dearest friend and time to go forward unafraid. It doesn't mean we leave those we love behind, we carry them in our heart and thoughts. This is life. We have choices. Choices to pick up the pieces around you and make something worthwhile out of the experience. Things happen for a reason, it's not always clear to see what they are until we start moving forward.
Jennifer, I know you are struggling right now. Struggling with life, struggling with the medication and struggling with your own doubts and fears. You are not alone. We are here to help you through this. To support, comfort and understand your pain. Take our hand and use the forum to help you on this journey. You will find the sun shining at the end of the tunnel. xx
