New and panicking on Sertraline

Hi. I'm new here and so pleased to have found this site.

I am looking for some advice on Sertraline please.

I took my first dose of 50 mg tonight and an hour later I couldn't stop shaking, my chest had a burning feeling and I had a major panic attack (couldn't breathe, heart racing)

I felt the worst that I have ever felt and it has scared me. The all over shaking took over an hour and a half to calm down. Is this normal or should I take no more please?

You need to see your doctor asap.may be too strong to start on. 😘

Thank you for your comment. I am going to take no more and phone the Doctor on Monday.
