Come on, let us know what is happening. Most of the day is gone where I live, and we need to wish a HAPPY birthday somehow before the day is gone. What's happening?

Anxiety or the blues because you looked at photos of your birthday last year?

No i havnt looked @ any of my last pictures its the aniexty i did get my feet done & hands yesterday. But today the aniexty was at a all time high went to church & my heart started pounding & feet & legs was shaking i was so anxious but i really enjoyed church the loud music just wish the aniexty went somewhere else i did finally calm down but after church i felt good but still didnt want to be bothered

Ok, Gloria.

I understand. You want to enjoy the peace, quiet and the fact your anxiety is under control right now. I have had birthdays like that. Didn't have the energy and didn't want anything going on that would cause the anxiety to rise to high gear. But if you have family with you now, and the anxiety is under control, if there is a bottle of Coke (no alcohol with your meds, right?) and a few fancy glasses, why don't you have a quiet toast in honor of the whole family....for you for not giving up and to the others for their support of you.

And please take your shoes off so those well manicured tootsies join in......I just can't still for a manicure and pedi, I just start wiggling in the chair wondering can't she do this faster?

I found myself feeling normal @ the nail shop maybe bc of the people that came was amusing to see they hair style the long broom eyelashes they were getting didnt have not 1 aniexty attack @ the nail shop Saturday 😄

Thank u! Agora1 but it went into full attack mode sunday @ church i'm thinking bc i was excited to be there & the loud music i was clapping & tapping my feet next thing i knew was my heart started pounding & fluttering i said oh no not here of all places

Gloria, that's the thing about anxiety whether excited or stressed, our over sensitized nervous system reacts the same. Church has gotten me into that state many times because of the emotional tug at our heart. Don't let that keep you away though. Don't let anxiety control where you go and what you want to do.

Deep slow breaths when this happens can help quiet down your mind and body. Have a good day
