Feel as if heart isn't beating right

Can anxiety make me feel as if my heart is beating wrong but it isn't? My heartbeat feels normal and I have had an EKG, which was normal and my heart still feels as if it's beatng irregularly, is this anxiety?

Yes.. heart palpitations are scary but you are fine.. it is anxiety I have the feelings as well even if I feel relaxed try not to worry

I've had the symptoms of heart palpitations. Heart tests were fine. But when I'd get anxious palpitations would be there, like my heart would skip a beat or feel like it was beating rapidly. Went on for weeks. Was definitely one of the worse side effects of anxiety for me. I took Valium during the worse of it, then found some good guided meditations to listen to which would calm me and eventually it stopped. It's good your doctor checked it out for you. Sometimes that helps stop the anxiety and thinking of worse case scenarios - I'm great at worse case scenarios. Lol.

I suffer from heart palpitations, I used to get them all the time. But after a while I stopped thinking about them and calmed myself down a lot. They seemed to go away. Also I noticed that if I drink they come on also the next day. Went to a cardiologist, he said everything is fine and nothing is wrong with me.
