Arm numbness/weird sensation

My left arm keeps going numb but when I pinch it it isn't anyone else have this? Also I keep getting tingling in my head

i feel the same. i thought it's a sign of stroke because my bp spike!. but when they brought me to ER, after many test (ECG, blood chem, utrasound, xray) the results are normal! i'm negative to stroke or heart attack. the nurse said its just anxiety/panic attack.

I get it in my right arm and my hip, leg, and door as well. I scare myself thinking it's something worse but it's just your anxiety causing it and it can be for a few reasons. Hyper/hypoventilating will change the pH levels in your blood and can cause numbness/tingling and many other things. In fight or flight mode your body also reduces blood flow to body parts that aren't as important to fight or flight actions. Also prolonged muscle tension from anxiety and stress will do it too. Its a horrible feeling and in my experience it makes me not want to do anything but sit around but the best thing to do is exercise to help release muscle tension and reduce anxiety. I have yet to practice what I preach on that part but even just going for a walk or doing housework helps and is somewhat distracting too. It can be scary but is just one of those strange and ironic effects of anxiety. I hope this helps! Also another user recommended anxietycentre.com to me and it has a HUGE list of all the different symptoms of anxiety and why it happens which I thought was great!
