Frequent Trips to the Restroom

Is frequent urination a symptom of anxiety? I've read in several places that it is and also that it is not. I have normal blood work and do not have a UTI, but sometimes a just pee and pee all damn day. It's really starting to get me down. I'm 38, so I hasten to attribute it to just getting old. Anyone else have this problem and if so, what do you do about it?

Yes I remember one time during my worst anxiety phase I had a few night in a row where I promise you, I went to urinate atleast every 20 minutes. I could not get any sleep and I was Ofcourse scared because I didn't know what was wrong. I thought I had a uti or bladder issues. And even after getting blood work done and the doc checking my urinalysis I was not a uti nor did I have bladder issue. So I'm assuming this was all due to my anxiety. I haven't had one of those nights again so far. And I hope I don't because it was awful plus I kept having that strong sensation in that area that whole time. So I'd say yes anxiety can cause this too.

Yeah this has been pretty unnerving, but thankfully so far today I've been much better and not going to the RR so frequently. I also skipped my morning cup of coffee today, so I'm wondering if maybe my anxiety is being worsened by it.

This is not one to worry yourself over.
