I recently went doctors and they had a feel of stomach and back because I have a lot of pain these days in stomach area! I find I get very bloated and burp prettt much all day long. As well as yawning. Also, I sometimes notice my food isn't digesting properly? Is this part and parcel of anxiety?

Yes! I first started having issues with anxiety symptoms when I was 8 years old. I was diagnosed (without testing) with a stomach ulcers then when I was a teenager I was diagnosed with a "spastic colon" which is known as IBS these days. When I got my anxiety under control, almost all of my digestive issues completely went away with the exception of the occasional gallbladder attack. Anxiety and depression can manifest itself so many different ways physically and it's so frustrating. I would check with your doctor as get the okay to start taking a good quality probiotic along with eating fermented foods like kim chi, yogurt, kefir, etc. Also, a simethicone medication (here in the US it's called Gas-X) will help with the bloating in the short term as will cutting out carbonated beverages and notoriously gassy food like beans, broccoli, milk, cheese, etc.
