Feeling strange

After a weekend of much activity.. graduation party. Bike rides. Visiting with the kids and casino time I am feeling depressed and just plain blah. Maybe I'm just tired or feel bad cause I didn't go to my granddaughter graduation or just cause I wish my mom was here. I don't know. Holidays are always sad. Tomorrow is a new day in my journey to recovery. Praying for a restful night and a brighter tomorrow. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN. πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™

I don't know but what I hear is that all is good with you when things are happening around you but the minute all activities or level of involvement drops to zero you feel bad. Are you afraid of being with yourself with nothing to do or do you feel uncomfortable when there is peace and silence? Are you depressed because of lack of whirlwind you experienced over the weekend? Just remember, whatever comes up has to come down so it's normal to feel blah. The more activities you have the more you will feel down after its over. Your body and mind has to recover and if you continued with the high your nervous system could get fried. It's all about balance. Enjoy the restful night!

It's just weird...it's like when I start going I continue than when I stop I'm back to square one. I guess I do too much st once to soon. I just want to be okay all the time not just some time.

I get the exact same way. Right now I'm in the throes of an anxiety episode. When I get like this, I always have to be active and involved in something. If I don't, my anxious thoughts take over and I have an attack. Then, when I'm alone or with nothing to do, I worry because I know the anxiety will return. It sounds like it's similar to what you're experiencing. I hope you push past the bad feelings.
