Hi Ivyngu, that pressure feeling and tightness of your head is one of the classic signs of stress and anxiety. *(feeling like you have a tight band around your head). It's due to the tightness of your muscles, clenching your jaw muscles, squinting, jutting your head forward in anticipation and on and on. One of the ways to reduce that pressure feeling is to make sure you are well hydrated and to use relaxation techniques in order to quiet down the stress. Finding out what prompts this stress is also beneficial. Once you know the cause, deep breathing it away can help immensely. Hot towels on your face for a few minutes will also help relax the facial muscles. You will actually feel the crackling as the trapped fluids dissipate.
