It's official! Chocolate not only contains serotonin, it makes your body produce more serotonin. And as all pseudo-psychitrists on this forum know, tranquilisers and anti-depressants are all about increasing serotonin levels because serotonin is the happy hormone. Of course it has to be dark chocolate not that pastey milk chocolate, the higher the cocoa butter content the better: 70%, 80%, how much cocoa butter can you squeeze into a bar of chocolate? What's more, you don't have to wait 4 weeks for it to kick in, 4 minutes will do nicely. So next time we feel a cadenza coming on, don't pop a pill break into a bar of Lindtz's finest. Does it actually work though? Either way you can have a nice time finding out.
