Anxiety

Hi

I'm new to this but just looking for people who feel the same as no one I know really gets me , I'm 38 and over weight and I'm a smoker . Every pain I get from head to toe makes me think I'm going to die , at the moment my thing is a heart attack as I sometimes get little sharp stabbing pains in the chest which makes me panic then I google chest pain and it's always the worst thing that is happening , I have been to doctors and they take my blood pressure and say the pains are because of anxiety/panic attacks but I keep thinking what if there wrong and a heart attack is going to happen does this sound familiar to any one would love for reassurance That I'm not the only person who has these feelings

Ryan78, you are certainly not the only person or the last person with anxiety to think this way. I think there is always that doubt in our minds that something as invisible as anxiety could cause these sensations in our bodies. Somewhere along the way, we have to accept that this is truly what the doctors have told us as well as reassure ourselves that nothing bad is going to happen.

I have the exact same thing going on with me.. I'm 40 overweight and also a smoker. I have had pain in my chest and both arms for a week now and it freaks me out so bad, it's all I can think about but am scared to death to go to the Dr.

Hi Maebell, it is always in your best interest to see a doctor who can

properly diagnose you. I know you're scared but whatever it is needs

to be addressed. We can support you emotionally while you make your

appointment to see a professional. We care about the safety of everyone
