I am asking if I am deveolping or have ocd. Before I go on I would like to note that I have anxiety and deal with health anxiety, and have dealt with bad thought obsessions.
So anyways. I noticed maybe 2-3 days ago I started to get weird distressed feeling mentally when doing something, but felt a sense of relief if I did It a certain way. Here's an example; when stirring the tea I would feel "the feeling" and want to push the tea bag or spoon against the cup, and the. I would get this releived feeling. It's only small things like that, and not all the time. I have had something a little similar where I obsessed about bad thoughts, but I got over that (quite quickly).
If you guys have any idea if this is just anxiety manifesting, of its a serious issue please help. Anything would be nice. Thanks.

Hello
The more you fear the more you might find yourself doing rituals which is what people with ocd do and I know as I have suffered years and it all started with fear and anxiety
You need to address your anxiety because this takes away the fear I hope you are getting some support with that
We "All" have a slight amount of ocd within us if we suffer with anxiety or not people have certain things they do in certain orders and so on but it is when it gets out of hand and is taking over most aspects of your daily life you can then be sure you are looking like you have ocd and as you say it is just the odd thing and now again I would not worry but even if you did ave ocd which is due to anxiety it is nothing to fear as the help and support out there which you can get now if you ask your Doctor to refer you would help you to live a normal life
If you are in doubt though talk with your Doctor , I was left years with mine as know one spoke about it like they do now which has made it become a part of me and harder to break the cycle , so don't leave anything that is worrying you especially as there is now more understanding , but above all try not to fear , as fear will feed so many things
Take Care x
