I have a few health issues and wondered if anyone had any hints or tips that may help.
1. Anxiety/depression- I have been suffering with anxiety for as long as I can remember- I constantly worry it can be over things that affect my daily life like; money or getting up for work or tiny things like; getting the house cleaned. I have days where I don't want to get up and face the world and feel so miserable beyond belief but other days I am happy and motivated and wondered why I ever felt down. I have really bad irritable bowel syndrome which could also be linked to my anxiety and I have flare ups weekly. I have been tested for ibd but it's always come back negative. I am currently taking sertraline to help with both anxiety and ibs. I have tried CBT and councilling. Councilling was helpful but only short term.
2. Back pain- I fell a year ago and severely injured my coccyx which has had a knock on affect on the rest of my body and caused muscle spasms in my lower back which was the worst pain I have ever experienced. I also suffer with sciatica and I am currently laid up in bed with a stiff neck. Don't know if this is linked but it is very painful. I have had physio and acupuncture and it's definitely settled but I still have painful days where I can't get out of bed or just feel so uncomfortable.
3. Over the last few months I have had some dizzy episodes where I have either fainted or felt like I was going to faint leaving me with some nerve damage in my arms. I had another dizzy episode yesterday. My hearing goes and all I can hear is ringing it's like I'm underwater and then I have to sit down immediately.
What I am trying to say is I feel like a hypochondriac but I need help with these issues and I don't feel like I get the help I need from the gp- they tend to par par it and make out like I'll be ok. But I get so worried due to my anxiety and I never get answers.
