Can anyone explain this? I went to A&E back in July and only just seen the results now (6 months after) I'm a bit worried about the normal aside from tachycardia what does this mean.

It means that except for a excessively fast heart rate (tachycardia), everything else was normal, i.e. no abnormal rhythm. If you sought care due to a panic attack or were stressed or scared, that would explain your elevated pulse.

Yeah it would explain as I was in emergency services when I had the ecg heart test. But how can I know I normally don't have tachycardia normally?

Does your heart feel like is constantly racing? For me it only happens when I have an anxiety/panic attack. I've been put on a beta blocker for it.

Yeah that's the same for me.. there's been a few times where my heart has randomly beat fast for a few second then go back to normal though have you ever had that?

Yes I have, I'll wake up sometimes with a racing heart and then it slows down. Your doctor can order you to wear a 24 hour event monitor to see how often you are having these events.
