Do you ever feel like
Hi apayett24, Yes I used to get this. It was explained to me that feeling of pending panic made me inwardly focus, that is I tool more notice of what was going on inside rather than in the outside world. Had I chosen to stay in the outside world and focus my attention there, things would be different. As it was my focus on the feelings made the feeling worse!
As they got worse, my mind went into overload, causing high anxiety, which sent my focus from the initial internal focus, onto many areas at the same time, so the initial pounding heart fears were swamped with other emotion, so I focused globally (inside) rather than on the heart pounding.
Once I understood this, I focused my attention outside, in the real world and learned to relax and things gradually got better.
Peace!
If you've been feeling panicky for a long time and then for some unknown reason for a couple of minutes hours or maybe even a day if you look if you don't have it you no longer feel normal because your body gets used to be certain way you feel and then if it changes it's actually feels worse for you than what you know like for instance I have chronic pain disorder and I'm in constant pain but sometimes the medicine kicks in and instead of dill in the pain the pain goes away and then I don't know what to do I feel different I feel weird I don't understand it and then all of a sudden the pain comes back and is all formula again maybe you in that moment where it's so weird that you feel ok that you're not used to it so you don't understand it which tend to set your panic attack of again become and you fell normal again I hope this helps
