Nerve damage after general anesthesia

After my colonoscopy and endoscopy ive been suffering severe panic attacks and irrational fears but also ive been getting tingling feelings om my legs and parts of my body gets really hot almost burning could this be nerve damage anyone who can help please do

Hi Frankrod, depending how long ago you had the scopes done will determine where this is all coming from. People who have anxiety and are on benzo meds or just having come off benzos are more likely to have anxiety/panic attacks to surface after having a general anesthetic. As for the nerve damage concern, you would have to run that by your doctors. It doesn't sound like that's a part of anxiety.

Did you have panic attacks prior to the procedure?

Yes i have ptsd but it was well managered

I've had both procedures and they used the Conscious Sedation like the Twilight sleep each time and not the general anesthetic. I was totally out and don't remember anything. I'm an extremely anxious person and I had no problems afterwards except a pretty enjoyable Buzz. You would normally be feeling fine after both of those procedures so you should definitely consult your doctor.
