Waking up early every morning
Waking up too early is a symptom of anxiety but that doesn't necessarily mean that's what's causing it in your case. A hormone in our bodies called cortisol peaks at about this time, more of it is produced when we are anxious which if not used up by fight or flight hangs around in our system causing more anxiety. Green tea contains a sustance called thianine which reduces cortisol levels, you might want to try making and drinking a cup of green tea when you wake up too early, it could help you get back to sleep.
Cortisol levels are high in the morning
Try drinking tea at night or have some nuts or fruit by ur bed to eat when u wake up
I'm the same way. I wake up at 4 every morning. If I take time to wind down before I go to bed... like a hour before and make sure that take my medicine, that usually helps me to sleep longer or able to fall back asleep if I do wake up
I just developed a "So what?" attitude towards all the symptoms of anxiety. The fact that you are questioning why you are waking early means it is bothering you and care about it too much. Give up caring and you lose the fear which is keeping the anxiety alive. All the symptoms will then gradually disappear and peace of mind and body will follow.
