Im 16 and its been a while that i have been dealing with this. This happens randomly where i get these small pains in my chest. It doesnt bother me much because it doesnt hurt and the pains arent very strong or last long. They are there for about 1 and a half seconds max. The thing is is that they are near the heart area. I figured that it cant be my heart because the entire left side of my chest would be in pain, and it would be intense pain. Now im not sure. Anyone have an idea of what it could be? I hope to go to the doctors some time this week to check it out.

This is classic Tietzes or costochondritis. Rib/ muscle pain. Totally benign. Nothing to worry about.
