Anxiety - head pressure and nerve pain

Have any of you experience constant head pressure and/or nerve pain from anxiety?

I first had constant left sided head pressure started from a month of intense anxiety/stress thinking I had a brain tumor. I then got a CT Sinus and MRI which I was was fine after but a week later this horrible left side head pressure by my temple began and stayed with me for 6 weeks. I went to a chiropractor who did a neck adjustment which relieved the head pressure but then I experienced nerve pain all over my body with some numbness in my feet . It feels like electric shocks all over and numbness that started in my toes. The head pressure stayed away for 3 months until returning recently in the same spot on top of the nerve pain which I'm still having.

I've had all the MRIs on neck/spine/head, MRAs, EMG/Nerve, and bloodwork possible. At this point I know the head pressure came with stress and possibly the chiropractor relieving the tension helped but the rest of me was so tense my nerves became severely irritated. I'm just not sure how to get rid of the head pressure that has returned again and is constantly with me 24/7 when I wake up at night or during the day. It's a pressure feeling like a rock is pushing on my head and is real intense at times. The only thing that relieves it is applying pressure to it,massage, or a hot shower.

Could this be a stress related migraine? My body just feels so sick and worn down from constant pains. I've started 10MG of Amphityrline to see if that helps.

I would say to everyone that has similar head pressure without a cause that it will eventually go away on it's own and you will be able to tolerate it. For me, the head pressure lasted continually for about 3 months and then would come back in times of intense stress. The less I thought about it and tried to push myself the better it became. I'm not how sure I got through it at times because the pain was so bad and it was interfering with my work and social life but God gave me the strength to get through it. Once I realized that this was temporary even though it felt permanent my anxiety decreased. The nerve pain really just healed on its own after 4 months (Dr. said should resolved in 3). I still get both some weird nerve pain and head pressure at times but if I dont focus on it it will eventually go away on its own the next day. I also took amitriptline 25 for awhile to help with the nerve pain and head pressure although I don't think it really did much. Just remember to push on with your life if your doctor has ruled out anything serious and having faith it will go away and giving it time you will get better.

Yes, I have that too. I just posted something about the relation to nerves and anxiety. I have the head pressure too like it's going to explode or something. I noticed that happens when I'm anxious. I have a pinched nerve in my lower back (sciatica) and that's causing all kinds of fun things to happen in my body lol like numbness in my butt area which terrified me so much I ended up going to the ER and I also am having numbness sometimes under my feet, week legs, weird sensations in legs, etc., but the doctors told me that can all occur from sciatica including the numbness. Getting anxious was what caused the sciatica and now I'm anxious because of the sciatica. I go to a chiropractor too and at one point I thought maybe the adjustments are making the nerve issues worse so I didn't go for a couple of months. Maybe when the chiropractor works on the nerves and muscles, the nerves get more irritated. I don't know but I'm thinking that's a possibility. I hope you feel better and try not to worry so much. I know it's so incredibly hard not to worry but we still have to try and fight this thing.
