Anxiety when i wake from my dream

Its been about a month since i had my colonoscopy and since then every time i wake up i have anxiety. these are dreams I've had before and never woke up with anxiety but after the general anesthesia i get anxiety from my dreams. Has anyone gone through this and can help?

Hi there, anaesthetic really does mess with your head. It did with mine for sure.it gets better over time but it does take time with some people. I had to use distraction techniques constantly. I didn't give myself chance to dwell on things because if I did my anxiety went off the scale. I walked, listened to music. Sorted through things. Listened to hypnotherapy apps for anxiety. You will be ok you'll get there 😀🙏🏻
