Hi,

I've been on Citalopram for 3 weeks now,

Initially I had some nausea but it has lessened a lot.

However the last few days I have felt a huge surge in my anxiety just before waking in that period when your in between being awake and asleep.

Once I'm fully wake and start doing stuff it eases.

Can anyone relate to this

Yonnie123 I get this to. Once I Get up it starts to lessen . I Have been told this has to do with our cortisol levels being highest in the morning. That's why you may also feel jittery or shaky or have heart palpitations as well. Once your med fully kicks in it should take care of this for you. Your body is still getting use to the med at 3 weeks. You may also expierence this if you ever withdraw from this med as well as your body will start to readjust itself once more. Hope this helps.
