Not the normal Bisoprolol side effects!

Hi,

I was prescribed Bisoprolol for ectopic heartbeats 4 weeks ago and have struggled with the normal well known side effects but this week have experienced something different and wondered if anyone has had anything similar.

Around 3hrs after taking my tablet my throat feels like it's swollen, becomes very sore and to be honest I feel like I have developed a nasty (albeit sudden)chest infection with coughing and feeling generally unwell. My voice even becomes husky.

Medics have said this can't be happening but on 2 separate occasions I have not taken my tablet and have not experienced these symptoms. If I have taken my meds late it happens again at the 3 hr mark.

I really am very puzzled and getting paranoid that medics think I'm bonkers!
