Had a cold for over a week!

I've had this cold for over a week a week now and I actually feel like it's worse than it was. I keep burning up and cooling down, getting agitated with it now. I want to go out and do things this weekend but I just feel to naff and grotty

Hello

Seems to be the time of the year for cold and various and most people with anxiety don't make very good patients , I know I can put myself on that list !

I am terrible when I am not well , no patience , can't relax , mind overthinking you name it yet all of these thing's are needed to help us shake of these colds because the more we get anxious because we want to be better then it just keeps us run down , so try and relax and accept for now

Drink plenty of fluids , get a few movies or whatever you like to watch that usually you don't have time to do and be kind to yourself , colds can last up to a few weeks but it will pass , only thing if you feel you have an infection then see your Doctor otherwise they don't do anything other than tell you to drink plenty etc

Hey, thank you for replying, the cold seems to be lifting a bit now, the cough and runny nose is staring to ease up, I just keep feeling like I'm burning up but my Nan says I don't really feel hot :/ x
