I wonder how this will go

Back to work tomorrow 😱 I am a cashier and things can be a little crazy sometimes in the store. Im supposed to work a 5 hour shift with only one 10 minute break. Think I might talk to my boss tomorrow and just tell him Im only comfortable working 3 hours.. I am looking forward to getting back on a routine but mornings can be a little rough for me and I work at 10. I haven't been to work in about a month.. Excited and nervous at the same time 😱😱😱

I was in your situation, I do 5hr shifts and the thought of going back into a 5hr shift made me feel sick so spoke to my manager and he was brilliant he let me just do 1hr on my first shift and then gradually increased my hrs back to 5hrs as and when I felt up to it this helped me so much to get back to my normal hours knowing there was no presure on me. I hope you get the help you need from your manager.

Update: I was fine at work today and talked to my boss. He said I can work when I want and for as long as I want. He told me he would put me on as a back up cashier for now until I am comfortable to fully return and go back to my normal hours. Some people really make me happy. I am so glad my boss understands me.
