Only going to work one day a week.

Well I had a good talk with my hubby and since we cannot afford one salary and me being off of work completely, we agreed that I will only work one shift a week after my sick leave. This makes me feel a lot better.

Gosh same as me! I am going back to work this week after 3 months sick and doing two days this week. I don't want to work anymore, but am old enough to get a pension, but they stopped it at 60 for my age group. Anyway, it's worse for me in a way as I work away in the week and work 4 days, I am going to see if they will let me drop to 3.

My husband says we could manage on his money, but it would be a worry, for me...not a nice dilemma.

Well it's good to know you've had a lot of pressure taken off you. I'm sure that's a huge relief for you. I'm going back to work next month too. Went to see occy health this morning. I really don't want to yet but money dictates I have too. I don't get sick pay so my other half has been helping me but hes pretty much financially wiped out now!! I've got a hernia now where my colostomy bag is. Doctor said I'm lucky I only came away with a hernia after what I went through.💪I work in a care home, lots of pulling and pushing hoists and wheelchairs. I'm hoping I can do domestic for a while till I can do my 50 press ups again!!💪💪🏊😀just joking about the press ups. Maybe I will win that lottery and I shall then devote my time to working in a charity shop. If I win enough I will open homeless shelters everywhere and pump mega millions into anxiety and depression treatment centres 😀🙏🏻Better go get my ticket👍
