Anxiety needing help
Hi
Sorry you are not having a good time of it anxiety sucks.
As for help there are some good relaxation clips on utube. I have a cbt app on my phone which I got from the play store.
Therapy especially cbt helps some people.
Deep breathing exercises. Being kind to oneself a relaxing bath .
I am sure others will come with better advice bit I wanted you to know that you are not alone. Take care.
Hi Sue, I find what helps me is I distract myself as soon as the feelings start up!! I go for a walk, walking does help your state of mind. I do anything, do some gardening, cleaning, listen to happy music!! I say to my thoughts oh no you don't!! Because I can't bare the crippling fear of the anxiety. I hate it!! I let it control me for too long!! Now I fight it when it starts. I also have 2 hypnotherapy apps on my phone for anxiety and one called heal your body. I find these have helped me too. Hope you have a better day sue🙏🏻
hi, the only thing that ever helped me is Xanax. I was your age and going thru change when I first started with my problems. try to keep busy and stay out of bed. I wasted too much time scared and miserable. get out and help yourself. if u were close, I could help u more.
Hi Sue! I am 45 and have had anxiety for over 5 months. Not long but it's really affected my life and I am working hard to try and manage it. I am off work, so have more time to focus on healing but there are many options available to you both free and paid for. Have you thought about talking to your GP? They can either refer you for free therapy, or discuss medication (mild to strong) in the form of either anti depressants, tranqs, or beta blockers. Each have pros and cons. There is also hypnotherapy, massage therapy, reflexology, acupuncture, yoga/tai chi...it all depends on what you're body responds to. You may have to try a few to get to one method that can help you? Good luck!
