Health anxiety -brain eating ameboea

I went swimming in our lake toledo bend ..huge tourist attraction thousands people there a summer...today I got a small amount of water in my nose it burnt (as I remember from a child) and then my anxiety hit me...what if I just got a brain eating ameboea...now my health anxiety has me convinced I contracted an ameboea and I'm panicking out completely! !!!! Please help me. ..any advice

Try to remain calm. Contact your local health department and see if any cases have been reported. I'm sure you are fine...

I did not cases reported she told me I'm fine, then called my Dr told me 99% sure I'm OK and called me in anxiety medication... told me to watch for bad bad bad headaches and severe diarrhea
