Hi All,

I have been following this group for sometime now and took great solitude in reading your posts whilst in my darkest hours.

I have been suffering for GAD for three years on and off but seem to have got much worse since the start of 2016.

I have tried CBT,Psychotherapy,Mindfulness,Exercise,Sertraline,Citalopram,Propanalol and Self Help Books/YouTube videos.

I suffer from social and health anxiety and feel constantly dizzy, does anyone else get dizzy away from anxiety provoking situations ?

I have three small children aged 7,4 and 14 months and it's a struggle at the best of times.

Over the past week I also become super jumpy and keep catching things out of the corner of my eye which makes me jumpy, does anyone else get this ?

I have had £2000 worth of private medical assessments in the past month and it's 100% non-physical. I was looking for solitude in being diagnosed with some nasty physical ailment and sine this was dispelled the mental side has increased tenfold.

That's me in a nutshell !

Thanks for all your support guys !

Cheers,

Steve

Hello,

I too feel dizzy and even while away from anxiety inducing situations. I also feel weak in the arms and I can't stand my heart racing - which its been doing for a few weeks now.

Have you ever tried pregabalin? It is a medication designed to treat diabetic neuropathic pain, as a co-prescribed anti-epilectic and also GAD. Amongst other things, pregabalin transformed my life completely having tried countless other medications. Have a word with your doctor to see if s/he will prescribe it for you. Give it a try.

Hi. I suffer from social and health anxiety as well. I even had to quit my job of 10 years. I would constantly feel dizzy and light headed which then convinced me I had a tumor or something causing it. I've had hundreds of tests run and everything comes back normal. But I don't feel normal. It's hard for me to even do my daily duties because of the anxiety. I also have trouble with my vision due to anxiety. I will see shadow like things out the corner of my eye as well. Blurry and patchy vision too. You are definitely not alone.

Yep I also feel dizzy/lightheaded a lot of the time, and I too see things out the corner of my eye, and I get super jumpy on random days. Nope, I can't explain it either. I just go with the flow instead of trying to make reason of it x
