Now I'm working two jobs and the day before any shift I can't do anything but sit on the couch. I've also started to feel a painful lump in my throat and the closer I get to sleep the less I can breathe. This has never happened to me before.

Sounds as though you are anxious. Probably very tired too! You need to pinpoint the cause. Do deep breathing and download a relaxation tape from u tube. As you do work this should help you. Focus on positive things😊😊
Maybe it is related to anxiety about your job? Think about what it is there- or who it is/ that may be causing anxiety for you
