Chest symptoms 😢 help
If it helps anyhow, I've been feeling like I can't breathe for a few weeks now. My chest hurts and it feels as if I am not getting enough air in nor out. Alas, I am still here and breathing, so I suppose it will pass eventually.
I suffered from this about 20 years ago. I had anxiety and depression but I self medicated with alcohol. I had a very stressful job as well. I had difficulties sleeping and I always had a feeling that I was going to have a heart attack. Every time I would think of my heart, panic would hit me and my heart would start racing. Thus confirming in my own mind that I must have heart problems. It was an endless cycle. I saw so many cardiologists and nothing was wrong. I wore a 24 hour monitor for my heart. The doctor said at one point while sleeping my heart started beating extremely fast. It scared me to the point that I fixated on it all day. But over time I learned to meditate and connect my brain to my body. I now have practiced yoga for 8 years. I started with small steps towards getting to know myself and lowering my stress. I stopped drinking and that also helped lower my anxiety and depression. I know it's scarey. I've been there. So don't dispair. You can get better!
All the best, D
Aww thank u hunis I can't wait to feel myself again.x
I listen to GUIDED MEDITATION online and walk in the fresh air every day even if I don't feel like it. I stay away from sugar also, because I get a sugar high then a little while later I feel very depressed and I want more sugar. Then I feel depressed about myself. I tell myself good things and try to stay around positive people, which is difficult. I write down my thoughts and this helps my fear dissappear. It gets better with baby steps. When in doubt, breath in deeply and relax! All is good!!!!
