Contemplating medication again

2 years ago I was put on citalopram and it didn't work out for me. I was just as anxious if not more because of the meds! I weaned myself off them after 4 months. Up until now I've been against taking them but the past few months I've been really struggling to cope! I'm warming towards the idea of going back to the doctors and seeing what he says. I'm just worried I'll have the same bad experience I did with citalopram!

2sara1. I wish you luck with whatever you decide to do. For me it got to the point that being on medication was causing more anxiety. Since I've been off the meds, I feel more in control and calmer. There are times I wish I could just pop a pill to relax but this is when I use techniques to calm down. It takes work to keep anxiety in control. x
